The Winding down

I placed on my profile yesterday 2 Kings 20: 13-19 and please if you have not read it, I ask you to. I believe it is a warning from God to all of us today. See, what happens today many times our future will pay the price for the choices we make in our past. Hezekiah received a work from the prophet Isaiah to get his home in order. Hezekiah turned his head to the wall, blocked all things out and asked God for more time. God gave him 15 more years. Hezekiah made wrong choices in those 15 years that caused great pain and suffering for those in future. What did he do?

Listen closely now, he allowed the enemy Babylon to come into his home and see everything he owned, everything, every treasure of his he showed them. Hezekiah rejoiced and welcomed the embassy and showed them all his treasure-house–the silver, gold, spices, precious ointment, his armory, and all that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house or in his entire realm that Hezekiah did not show them. You maybe say, “BIG DEAL!” It is and was a big deal. You don’t allow the enemy to come into your home or nation and see all that you have. Sorry to say, we have done just that and it will bring great consequences in each one of our lives and in the future. This saddens the heart of God for our nation, which was founded and has been blessed by His hand. We have allowed the enemy to come and live among us and watch us and learn about us and even know our secrets. We have let our guard down as a nation, and I am greatly concerned for where it will lead us in our future for not only us, but our children and their children.

We have to pray hard for God’s future design to come forth in this hour. I believe it is all winding down and He will come soon and get those whose hearts are with Him. Please listen as He calls your name, and honor Him today, He loves you and He died for you and wants to walk with you now and forever more.
